Elizabeth V. Abad holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (1985) from the University of Houston, Texas, with a Minor in Finance and Accounting. Her work experience spans project management, strategic planning, and team development, each contributing to her ability to deliver results and build effective collaborations.

 Throughout her career, Mrs. Abad has held diverse roles within fast-paced industry sectors that demand adaptability, strategic vision, and leadership. Her work path began with financial accounting at Valic, life insurance company in Houston, Texas. Then it moved overseas to Price Waterhouse in Quito, Ecuador, where her work involved independent financial statement audits, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance. She worked as a Financial Manager at M. Simpson Enterprises and as a General Manager for AMAPEC LLC (2001-2010), a Petroleum Consulting and Services Company, where she consistently sought opportunities to apply innovative solutions to complex service problems. She managed a large, 2-year service contract with REPSOL Ecuador S.A to supply personnel and equipment for their Block 16 petroleum operations.  Outside of formal work, she actively pursues other creative financial interests such as buying, remodeling, and leasing real estate properties.

Mrs. Abad is presently working with Kepler Energy, in charge of Finance and Accounting. Her approach is indeed grounded in respect for best financial practices and a focus on measurable outcomes.
